Urenco
Enviromental Arts Competition.............
Each year Urenco at Capenhurst produces a calender for the residents
of the local community. To select the paintings used in the 2009
calender, an art competition was launched, where entries must
produce an enviromental theme. This year Phil Jackson won first
prize with 'Towards Snowdon', which was also immortalised on the
front of the Urenco 2009 calender. With 'Menai Strait' inside.
These paintings along with Phil's other work 'River Dee at Chester'
were all exhibited in the Lowry Centre, Salford Quays, Manchester
at the end of 2008. |
